Strip Hair transplantation involves taking hair form a donor area, usually the back of the head, and transplanting it to the thinning area usually on the top of the head. New stitching techniques can allow for a very fine scar that is virtually undetectable.

A special surgical maneuver called a trichophytic (pronounced “trick-o-fitic “ ) closure, allows the skin to heal with hair growing through the scar.

This means that scars are very fine and often nearly invisible in some patients since the hair growing through the scar will blend in with the rest of the patient’s hair.

Sure Hair has been working to refine this technique and we use it on virtually all our strip hair transplant patients. This method allows for precision stitching and gives the best potential to get those “tricky” hairs to grow right through the scar.
